Hi there, I’m

Dr. Liz

As a clinical psychologist and adoptee, myself, I specialize in helping adoptees and their families grow and learn about the lifelong journey of being adopted. I have focused on health psychology with a specialty on adoptive families throughout my career, earning my master’s degree and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in School Psychology from Northeastern University in Boston and my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University New England. When I first began my journey, I worked with children from a variety of backgrounds in public schools throughout the Boston area and recognized that most adoptees often have shared experiences and challenges around their adoption.

For over 25 years, I have worked with individuals of all ages helping them develop the skills and understanding to improve their lives. In addition to therapy, coaching and consultations, I provide psychological evaluations and consultations to parents contemplating international adoptions.

I’m the proud mom of two grown children and divide my time between my busy clinical practice in the Metro-Boston area and Colorado. I’m an active public speaker, an ardent advocate for children, and enjoy supporting families at workshops and conferences.
